Tik-Tok style FinTech secures £205K funding

A UK investment platform using short-form video in a similar style to Tik-Tok has announced £205,000 in funding.

London-based Zeed aims to make investing more accessible to Gen-Z by pairing in-house finance content with trade execution.

The money will be spent on developing the Zeed product, expanding the team, and creating “exclusive” content.

“One of the biggest barriers faced by Gen-Z investors is developing the knowledge and confidence to decide what to invest in,” said Salman Hussain, co-founder and chief executive of Zeed. “More investors want autonomy over how they invest their money, especially when it comes to themes like ESG and impact investing.

“Communicating these financial concepts clearly has become even more important. We produce TikTok-style short-form content to make that part of the journey effortless and engaging, working with financial institutions and verified content creators.”
