Business financial platform Tide has joined Tech Nation’s Future Fifty Programme, designed to bring together and accelerate the growth of top tech companies in the UK.
Tide has recently surpassed a 5 per cent share of the SME banking market, with nearly 330,000 member businesses, and around 400,000 business accounts. The organisation has also more than doubled its member base over the past 12 months.
The Tech Nation-driven programme includes peer-to-peer learning, masterclasses, and sessions with government officials and ministers.
Monzo, Bulb, Deliveroo, and Zoopla have already been accepted into the programme.
“It has become clear over the last year that the ability of technology companies, and specifically FinTechs, to be nimble and adapt to the changing needs of customers is crucial to continued growth in the toughest of times,” said Oliver Prill, Tide chief executive. "I am delighted that Tide will be joining Tech Nation’s Future Fifty programme as collaboration and shared learning is essential to driving the continued growth of UK tech.”
