Three apologises after days of network disruption

Three UK has apologised for ongoing network issues after several days of disruption.

On Tuesday, the British telecoms company said that the vast majority of its services had been restored following an issue with its network that started the day before.

In a post on X, the business told its followers that a small number of customers may still be experiencing an issue with voice calls.

The internet provider has experienced disruption since last Friday, when the company reported intermittent issues across its network.

There was also a period on Friday when customer services were impacted and unavailable.

The disruption comes as the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) carries out an investigation into Vodafone’s merger agreement with Three UK.

The move would see the companies’ telecoms operations under one single network provider.

The probe will look to identify whether the deal may lead to a "substantial lessening of competition".
