Only 1 in 10 Brits trust tech companies with personal data

Just five per cent of UK citizens trust technology companies with their personal data, according to new research.

MoneyTransfers.com analysed data from YouGov to establish which countries in the world most trust tech businesses with their data.

The data shows that India ranks number one, with 17 per cent of the population trusting technology companies with their data.

French citizens are the most sceptical, with only 4 per cent trusting these businesses.

3. Germany 12 per cent
4. Mexico 12 per cent
5. United Arab Emirates (UAE) 12 per cent
6. China 11 per cent
7. Poland 11 per cent
8. Italy 9 per cent

10. Sweden 9 per cent
11. Spain 9 per cent
12. Australia 8 per cent
