Just Eat launches new delivery partnership with Nisa

Just eat has launched a new on-demand online delivery service for Nisa.

Customers will be able to order items from participating local Nisa stores for deliveries which take as little as under 30 minutes via the Just Eat app, said the convenience retailer.

The company said that shoppers can order anything from bread and milk to meals and store cupboard essentials.

John McNeill, chief operating officer at Nisa said that the move was an "obvious decision to make".

“With home delivery now forming a crucial part of many convenience businesses and making up a core part of the customer offer, we wanted to ensure we were providing our retailers with as many options as possible to increase sales opportunities from this avenue," he added.

The Co-operative Group, which owns Nisa, recently expanded its Just Eat delivery partnership across almost 1,000 stores as part of a strategy to take up 30 per cent of the UK’s quick-convenience market.

The move followed a successful trial with the takeaway and grocery delivery service which launched in December 2022.

The service was initially rolled out to 50 stores in the UK, with the aim of expanding to 1,000 shops by Spring this year.

Talking about Just Eat's new partnership with Nisa, the company's strategic accounts director said: “We’re excited to launch our partnership with Nisa to offer convenience grocery from stores across the UK. The partnership further demonstrates our commitment to offering our customers access to a wide range of grocery and convenience options - all delivered to their home within minutes."
