Snapchat trials subscription feature

Snapchat is trialling a new subscription feature called Snapchat+.

A spokesperson for Snapchat’s parent company Snap Inc. confirmed with Reuters that the subscription feature is currently being tested internally.

According to a screenshot first shared in a tweet by Alessandro Paluzzi, whose Twitter bio profile bills him as a mobile developer and leaker, a monthly subscription will cost around £5 per month or around £50 for a yearly subscription.

The aforementioned tweet said: “Snapchat+ gives you access to exclusive, experimental and pre-release features such as the ability to pin the conversation with your Best Friend, the access to custom Snapchat icons, a special badge, etc.”
