Samsung launches new AI-powered Galaxy Ring

Samsung Electronics has announced the launch of its new AI-powered Galaxy Ring, along with several new digital watches.

The electronics giant said that its new wearable collection forms part of the company's strategy to use its general AI tool Galaxy AI to improve digital health and provide personalised insights and health experiences.

Galaxy AI has already facilitated a number of features for its mobile customers such as the ability to perform internet searches by circling images.

“The latest additions to our wearables portfolio integrate Samsung’s most advanced technologies and innovations, enabling you to take control of your health and wellness with preventative healthcare solutions,” said TM Roh, president and head of mobile eXperience business at Samsung Electronics. “The intelligence, guidance and insights that are offered with Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra will help users turn data into meaningful insights and create a whole new era of expanded intelligent health experiences.”

The company's new Galaxy Ring, which comes in titanium black, silver, and gold colours, includes 24/7 health monitoring, tracking, and personalised insights using its sensor technology.

Samsung said that with continuous usage, battery life lasts up to seven days.

The brand's new Galaxy Watch7 provides personalised workouts along with "intelligent and preventative" health monitoring capabilities, while its Galaxy Watch Ultra is the latest addition to the Galaxy Watch smartwatch range.
