Personal styling service Stitch Fix has partnered with music streaming service Spotify to offer an interactive experience whereby personalised outfit recommendations are matched with playlists.
The new experience, called ‘Style Tune Ups’, will also offer users virtual styling appointments designed to help them choose outfits for concerts.
The service uses Stitch Fix’s 2024 Style Forecast created from over 100 million data points, with research by the company finding that around 80 per cent of users take outfit inspiration from singer Taylor Swift.
The forecast also revealed that around half of Stitch Fix’s customers said they would “dress the part” when attending a concert by their favourite artist.
“It was an intuitive next step to team up with Spotify—a brand also known for its expertise in data and personalised recommendations,” said Jenny Herr, head of trend at Stitch Fix. “Through the launch of Style Tune Ups, we’re able to blend both of our specialties to make getting dressed easier and more inspired than ever before, while providing clients with a fun and personalised way to marry their love of music and individual style.”
