Amazon Web Services (AWS) has integrated AI solutions from Thoughtworks, a global technology consultancy, into the AWS Marketplace for Asia-Pacific-based businesses.
As part of the move, Thoughtworks is seeking to roll out genAI solutions across its Asia-Pacific-based customers in an effort to expand its presence in the region.
Amazon’s AWS Marketplace is a curated digital catalogue where customers can find, purchase, deploy and manage third-party software, data and services designed to run on AWS infrastructure.
The new agreement provides Thoughtworks’ customers with access to the Haiven team assistant, an artificial intelligence-enabled knowledge amplifier created by Thoughtworks for the Amazon Bedrock framework. The service aims to help users facilitate complex projects while building genAI solutions.
Throughtworks’ customers in this area focus on a range of industries, including automotive, energy, financial services, healthcare, media and entertainment.
As an example of its genAI deployment plans in the region, Thoughtworks cited the case of PEXA Group, an ASX-listed digital property exchange platform and property insights solutions company operating in Australia and the UK, which recently integrated the company’s genAI assistant on Amazon Bedrock.
Amazon Bedrock enables customers to build and scale genAI applications using a set of high-performance core models (FMs) from a number of AI companies including AI21 Labs, Anthropic, Cohere, Stability AI and Amazon itself.
The new integration uses in-house knowledge, such as training manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs), to reduce response time to property enquiries from one minute to five seconds.
Corrie Briscoe, director of partner sales, Asia Pacific Japan, AWS, said AWS partners play a key role in accelerating industry innovation and meeting customer needs.
“By leveraging AWS’s latest cloud-enabled technologies, including genAI, AWS is able to help joint customers across diverse industries, including PEXA Group, design, build, and critically, deliver GenAI solutions with ease and at scale,” Biscoe said.
AWS and Thoughtworks have been collaborating for several years, with their partnership focuse on providing cloud solutions and digital transformation for various industries.
