Trump files lawsuit against Facebook, Google, and Twitter

Donald Trump has reportedly sued Facebook, Google, and Twitter over claims the platforms censored him earlier this year.

According to a report by the BBC, the lawsuit also targets the three tech giant’s chief executives.

In January, Trump was banned from his social media accounts over public safety concerns associated with the Capitol Hill riots.

This week, the former US president said that the action was “"a very beautiful development for our freedom of speech."

"We are demanding an end to the shadow-banning, a stop to the silencing, and a stop to the blacklisting, banishing, and cancelling that you know so well," Trump said at a news conference from his golf resort in New Jersey.
