Tech Mahindra partners with Google on GenAI email launch

Indian digital transformation company Tech Mahindra has announced a new partnership with Google to help launch its generative AI-powered Email AmplifAler.

The company’s Email AmplifAler aims to be a “one stop solution” to manage all email communication in customer contact centres.

Tech Mahindra said the solution will use generative AI to provide a “unified visualisation and automation technique”, a process it says will improve customer experience.

To do this, the business explained that the technology will identify message intent and extract the required entities from email and other systems, including applications such as CRM, with the overall aim of improving agent productivity by creating “consistent and accurate” email responses with less human dependency.

Users can also review generated responses, if necessary, and make changes before sending them to customers, Tech Mahindra added.

“Our Email AmplifAIer, powered by generative AI, will help enhance organisational efficiency and customer experience with quick, accurate and automated responses,” said Hasit Trivedi, chief technology officer, digital technologies and global head of AI at Tech Mahindra.
