Starling founder Anne Boden releases new book

Anne Boden, the founder of digital challenger bank Starling, has released her third book.

'Female Founders Playbook – Insights from the superwomen who made it’ follows the experiences of leading women entrepreneurs and venture capital investors, offering insights on every aspect of launching a high-growth business.

It aims to provide an "easy to follow guide" to leading a successful venture from coming up with a unicorn-worthy idea, through to building a multi-talented team.

Boden's book also focuses on how women can fundraise in a world where, according to 2022 research by Beauhurst, only 2p of every £1 of equity investment goes to all-female founding teams.

The move comes after research from Which? found that smaller challenger banks are beating traditional High Street incumbents when it comes to savings and current accounts.

Which? gave Starling 'recommended provider' status after finding that the digital bank was "one of the best" current account providers for mobile banking.

Boden's book will be available for purchase from 3 March in paperback.
