Lincolnshire Co-op rolls out new data and analytics platform

Lincolnshire Co-op is rolling out a new data and analytics platform.

The company said the move forms part of its plans to become a "data-led" company.

The co-operative, which currently has over 220 outlets across Lincolnshire, has signed a seven-year deal with Xiatech to modernise its existing legacy systems through the new platform.

The technology, which uses AI-driven analytics, aims to provide a single view of operational data for the retailer.

“Lincolnshire Co-op is on an exciting transformation journey as part of our investment in our Purpose Beyond Profit 2023 strategy that will have a lasting impact on the lives of our members,” said Andy Warman, head of strategy and transformation, Lincolnshire Co-op.

Lincolnshire Co-op is an independent co-operative society with 300,000 members and 2,900 local workers.

The company has a number of services including food stores, filling stations, post officers, travel branches, funeral homes, a florist, a crematorium and community libraries. It also has several pharmacies.

As well as its trading outlets, Lincolnshire Co-op owns properties, from flats and houses to commercial premises.
