Google partners with Admiral to provide cloud tech

Insurance provider Admiral has partnered with Google Cloud roll out cloud for its core insurance operations and digital systems.

The company will also use Google Cloud technologies to develop new digital products and services such as improving its mobile app.

Admiral said the partnership will enable it to accelerate the launch of new products and services by employing cloud applications and new methods of software development.

It added that they will collaborate on four main areas which are data and AI, operations and digital experiences and skills.

Admiral says it will use Google’s technology to improve its digital channels such as its website and offer its customers greater personalisation, as well as scale its operations and upskill employees.

"With our customers at the heart of everything we do, Admiral is delighted to join forces with Google Cloud to help us achieve our strategic goals," said Admiral CIO Alan Patefield-Smith. "Google Cloud's cutting-edge tech and expertise allows us to accelerate our digital transformation journey and helps us to deliver forward-thinking customer experiences."
