Amazon.it partners with Nexi to expand payment options

Amazon's Italian arm has partnered with Nexi, a European PayTech platform, to allow customers to make purchases using Bancomat Pay.

The agreement will enable customers shopping through Amazon,it t have more payment choices at checkout.

Intesa Sanpaolo also contributed to the project as a technology partner.

In April, Amazon announced it had launched an app which lets customers sign up for its palm recognition service using their phone instead of visiting a physical location.
