Tech entrepreneurs prioritise brand over money

Naming and brand are the most important decision technology entrepreneurs have to make, with decisions on name, brand profile and marketing costs topping the ranking of bosses’ most important to do lists.

A survey by serviced office specialist Workthere (a division of Savills) reveals that these worries come out top with 45 per cent of those surveyed, followed by meeting financial targets and achieving work/life balance. This might come as a shock to some VCs who finance the deals.

After these three main concerns, financing the day-to-day running of the business (such as borrowing money / crowdfunding), hiring staff and developing unique solutions and creating products complete the seven biggest issues.
