Keylogger found in HP laptops

A keylogger has been found pre-installed on 460 HP laptop models, with HP has issuing a software patch for its customers.

EliteBook, ProBook, Pavilion and Envy ranges are affected, although other laptops dating back 2012 might also have issues.

HP admits that the security flaw could result in a loss of confidentiality, but confirmed that neither it nor its partners could record customer data.
