Blockchain with everything

Remember the turn of the century when merely adding dot com to the end of a company sent the City into fits of delight? Well you need not be nostalgic any longer as exactly the same thing has happened again with blockchain.

Proof of this comes as drinks maker (yes really) Long Island Iced Tea Corporation rebranded as Long Blockchain Corporation and hey presto shares nearly tripled in value. Which really isn’t a bad result for the struggling Hicksville-based drinks company, especially as it has historically had nothing at all to do with blockchain in any normal sense.

Long Blockchain will, however, now seek partnerships and investments in blockchain technology, alongside its traditional drinks business.
