Mimecast, the email and data security company has announced financial results for the third quarter 2017 with revenue of $67.3 million, an increase of 39 per cent year on year, or 36 per cent in constant currency.
The company has also reported 1,100 new customers, with a total of over 29,200 organisations globally, and it has experience success with its Targeted Threat Protection product, growing with 1,700 new and existing customers adopting the service in the third quarter. In total, more than 15,100 customers now use the service.
The tie-in with 365 has also reaped rewards, with 29 per cent of customers using Mimecast in conjunction with Microsoft Office 365 and 8,600 customers now use the two together.
