Fujitsu only tech company on LGBT list

Stonewall has published its annual list of the best UK LGBT-inclusive employers, with Fujitsu the sole technology company making the list.

More than 430 organisations took part in this year’s index, with Stonewall collecting over 92,000 anonymous responses from employees on their experience of workplace culture and diversity.

The National Assembly for Wales took the top slot for the first time, and there were distinct patterns within the top 100, with legal and banking companies taking up half of the top 10, and of the private companies by sector, a quarter (25) were either financial services or legal.

Professional services were well represented, with PwC, KPMG, Accenture, Capgemini, PageGroup and EY all making the list, but some sectors were poorly represented such as retail (Coop the only entrant) pharma/manufacturing (GSK) and technology (Fujitsu).
